Eternal Yule-tide

Chapter 1. Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, there was a place where it was always Christmas. The trees were evergreen and the snow was always glittering. Presents were piled high under the tree and the smell of pine filled the air.

It was a strange and wonderful place, but no one knew why it was like this. Every day, everyone awoke to find that it was still Christmas; Father Christmas even came every night to restock the presents.

One night, after all the children had gone to bed, something strange happened. A huge star appeared in the sky and shone brighter than any other star in existence.

Everyone looked up in wonder – what did this mean? Was this a sign from above?

The next morning, everyone gathered around the star and noticed that it had left something behind – a tiny little elf! The elf said he had come from Santa himself to tell them why they were stuck in eternal Yule-tide – because they had forgotten how to enjoy the spirit of Christmas.

The elf taught them how to truly appreciate each other and be kind to one another all year round – not just at Christmas time. He showed them how to give generously without expecting anything in return, how to be more grateful for what they have and how important it is to make someone else’s day better.

With these lessons learned, everyone finally realized what being truly happy during Christmas is all about – being kind and generous throughout the year! As soon as everyone understood this, Eternal Yule-tide ended and everyone returned back home with newfound joy!
