Chapter 1. Jeremy Demoss had a problem. He couldn't hear anything.
He would go to the doctor and they would tell him that he had a banana stuck in his ear. Jeremy would be incredulous and deny it, but the doctor would insist that it was indeed a banana.
Jeremy would then walk away grumbling and shaking his head, only to return the next week with the same complaint. The doctor decided to take matters into his own hands and examine Jeremy's ear himself.
Sure enough, there was a banana lodged inside! The doctor removed it with tweezers and Jeremy could finally hear again.
He was so embarrassed that he changed his last name from Demoss to De-Banana-ed!
