Living on the Haunted Farm.
Chapter 1. Once upon a time, there lived a little girl named Susan who lived with her mother in a very old, creepy farmhouse. Every night, Susan heard strange noises coming from the barn and the fields near the house. She was sure there were ghosts living on their farm. One night, when Susan was too scared to sleep, she decided to investigate.
She tiptoed out of her bedroom and made her way to the barn. Suddenly she heard a loud creaking noise coming from inside. Terrified, she ran back to her bedroom and hid under the covers. The next day, Susan decided to explore again.
This time she brought a flashlight and some courage with her! As soon as she walked into the barn, she saw something moving in the shadows. It was an old man with a long white beard! He told Susan he had been living on the farm for many years and that he was looking for someone to help him take care of it.
Susan was excited by this new adventure and agreed to help him! Together they worked hard every day taking care of the animals and tending to the crops. Eventually they were able to turn their old haunted farm into a thriving business! At night, when all of their work was done, they would sit outside under the stars and tell stories about all of their adventures throughout the day.
Susan soon realized that what had originally seemed so scary about her house was actually quite beautiful in its own way. And although it still creaked at night sometimes, it no longer seemed so spooky or mysterious! Years later when Susan looked back on her childhood home she could see how lucky she had been to live on such an amazing haunted farm!
