Batty Christmas Miracle
Chapter 1. It was the night before Christmas and all through the bat cave, not a creature was stirring…except Bats! He had a mission - to make sure Santa would bring them presents. He had an idea – he wanted to decorate a tree for Santa so that he would know that bats lived in the cave and wanted some presents too. But how could he do it?
He didn’t have any decorations or a tree! He searched high and low but couldn’t find anything. Just then, Bats heard a noise outside the cave. It was Santa!
He had heard about Bats’ problem and decided to help him out. Santa gave Bats some decorations, a tree, candy canes, tinsel and even cookies! Bats was so excited he started to decorate right away.
As he hung up each decoration, his excitement grew until finally the tree was finished. When morning came, all of the bats in the cave were amazed at what they saw – their very own Christmas tree! And right underneath it – presents from Santa!
With that, Bats knew his plan had worked – with a bit of help from Santa of course! From then on, every Christmas Eve they decorated their tree just like before and waited for Santa to come with presents for them all. Merry Christmas everyone!
