Love in Reverse Time
Chapter 1. The first time they met, it was love at first sight. Or rather, it was love at last sight. The two of them had been traveling through time independently, both searching for something they could never find in the present day.
They had each felt a strange pull that led them to the same place, in the same period of history, but at different times. John had arrived first, drawn to the city of Paris in 1789. He had been searching for an answer to a question that had haunted him for years - why did his father leave him?
He believed he would find some clue in this past era that might reveal the truth. He searched through old records and books and interviewed anyone who might know something about his father's past life, but he found nothing. He was just about to give up when he encountered a mysterious woman wandering the streets late one night.
It was Nina, who had been sent from the future by her own mother on a desperate mission to undo a mistake made long ago. She too was looking for answers from her past; answers that only John could provide her with. John and Nina were immediately drawn to each other and soon realized that their individual quests were intertwined: if they worked together and shared their knowledge, they could both get what they wanted and make things right again.
Their love flourished as their story unfolded over centuries; from Paris in 1789 to Vienna in 1848 and then London in 1941. As they traveled through time together their bond strengthened until finally their journey ended back where it began; this time with John arriving first - but now with Nina by his side.
