Jacked Up!
Chapter 1. Once upon a time there was a young boy named Jack. He was starting school for the very first time, and he was so excited he couldn't sleep the night before. He got up early, put on his new clothes, grabbed his backpack and headed off to school.
He was so nervous that his hands were shaking. As he walked into the school, he was overwhelmed by how many people were there. It seemed like everyone was looking at him but no one said hello.
Jack found his classroom and sat down in the corner. He wanted to be invisible so no one would notice him. But then, a girl named Emily came over and said hello!
She asked him to come play at recess and Jack couldn't believe it! At recess, Jack made lots of new friends and they all laughed and played together all afternoon. He even climbed to the top of the monkey bars - something he never thought he could do!
At the end of the day, Jack realized that starting school wasn't so scary after all! He had made lots of new friends and had a great time. And from that day forward, Jack loved going to school every day!
