Subway Safari!
Chapter 1. to the zoo Once upon a time, there was a lion who lived in the city. He had grown tired of living in his tiny apartment, so he decided to go to the zoo to find a larger home. He knew there was no way he could walk all the way across town, so he went down to the subway station to take the train. When he arrived at the station, he noticed that all of the turnstiles were too small for him to fit through.
The lion thought for a moment and then had an idea. He walked up to one of the ticket windows and asked politely if he could buy a ticket. The ticket clerk looked at him in surprise and said “Sir, I’m afraid you can’t ride on this train.
You’re much too big!” The lion just smiled and said “No problem! I know I won’t fit through those turnstiles, but perhaps I can ride on top of one of your cars?
That way I won’t be blocking anyone’s view or getting in their way.” The ticket clerk thought it over for a moment and then agreed that it would be okay as long as the lion promised not to make any trouble. So, the lion hopped onto one of the cars and enjoyed his ride across town until finally arriving at his destination –the zoo!
When he got off at his stop, all of the other passengers were amazed at what they had just seen –a lion riding on top of a subway car! The story quickly spread throughout town and soon everyone was talking about how brave and resourceful this lion was for finding such an innovative way to get around town without having to walk all that way himself. And from that day forward, whenever someone needed help finding a creative solution or wanted something done quickly they would say “Why don't you just take the Lion's path?
