A New Dawn
Chapter 1. Once upon a time, an alien species visited Earth for the first time. They landed in the middle of a farming town and were immediately greeted by the local farmer. The farmer was so excited to meet these new visitors that he asked them what they wanted.
The aliens replied, "We come in peace. We are looking for intelligent life." The farmer thought for a moment and then said, "Well, you've come to the right place!
We've got plenty of that around here!" The aliens looked at each other confused and then one of them asked, "What do you mean?" The farmer replied, "Well, my wife just left me and took half my farm with her.
My son is off at college and I can't seem to get him to call me back. My daughter has been dating that no-good loser for months now and won't listen to me when I tell her he's no good. And my dog keeps running away every chance he gets!
" The aliens looked at each other again in confusion and then one of them finally said, "Well sir, we don't really understand what you mean." The farmer smiled and said, "That's exactly what I mean! You have definitely found intelligent life here on Earth!
