Dragon Slayed!
Chapter 1. Once upon a time, there lived a brave and courageous girl named Mary. Mary loved adventure, but nothing had prepared her for the challenge she was about to face. One day, Mary heard a loud roar coming from the nearby forest. She knew it must be a dragon!
With no time to waste, she quickly grabbed her sword and shield and set out to find the dragon. Mary soon arrived at the edge of the forest and saw the dragon perched atop a giant tree. Without hesitation, she charged forward and raised her sword to strike.
But just as she did, the dragon roared with such ferocity that it knocked her off her feet! Undeterred, Mary got back up and continued her attack. With one swift stroke of her sword, she sliced right through the dragon's scales.
The beast let out an ear-splitting cry as it fell from its perch with a crash that shook the ground beneath them. The battle was won! Mary had slain the dragon!
The villagers were so grateful for what Mary had done that they decided to make her their hero. From that day forward, stories about Mary and how she bravely faced down a dragon were told far and wide across the land. And so ends our story of bravery and courage - Dragon Slayed!
