A New Suit of Courage
Chapter 1. Once upon a time there was a young girl named Mia who lived on the edge of a small town by the sea. One day, Mia decided to take her first brave step and try on her new bathing suit. She was so excited to finally have something that made her feel beautiful.
Mia took the suit out of the package and tried it on. It fit perfectly! But, when she looked in the mirror, she noticed something strange—she was still wearing her white socks.
That's when Mia had an idea: She could wear her white socks with her new bathing suit and show everyone that she was brave enough to be herself! Mia had never been so proud of herself as she walked out of her house in her new bathing suit and white socks. Everyone stared, but Mia didn't care—she felt beautiful and confident in her own skin.
As she went down to the beach, people started smiling at her and admiring how courageous she was for being herself. Soon enough, other kids began joining Mia at the beach wearing their own bright colored bathing suits and white socks. They were all laughing together and having a great time!
Mia knew then that courage comes in many forms, including wearing what makes you feel happy and confident no matter what anyone else thinks. She realized that being true to yourself can be one of life’s greatest adventures!
