Lucky Chats. 
Chapter 1. Lucky was a regular chicken living on a farm. She liked to scratch around for food, take dust baths, and chat with the other animals. One day, she found something very strange--a hat! It wasn’t any old hat; it was a magic hat!
Lucky put the hat on her head and suddenly she could understand human language! She couldn’t believe it. She had to try it out right away. She strutted over to the farmer and said “Good Morning, Farmer!
” The farmer couldn’t believe his ears and he jumped back in surprise. After that, Lucky began talking with everyone who came to the farm--the milkman, the grocer, the postman--everyone! People were amazed that a chicken could talk. They called her Lucky Chats.
Soon news of Lucky spread all over town, and people came from miles around just to hear Lucky speak. Everyone loved hearing her funny stories and wise words about life. One day, an evil wizard heard about Lucky and he wanted her magic hat for himself. He snuck up on Lucky one night and tried to steal it from her head!
But luckily (no pun intended!), Lucky was too quick for him; she ran away as fast as she could back to the safety of the barnyard! The wizard was so angry that he put a spell on the farm - he made it so that no one could understand what Lucky said anymore! Poor Lucky was so sad; she thought no one would ever understand her again.
But then one day a brave little girl stepped forward - she had heard about Lucky before and knew how special she was. She reached out for the magic hat and said “Lucky Chats, I believe in you!” As soon as she put the hat on her head - POOF - the spell was broken!
Everyone could understand Lucky again, and they all cheered with joy. From then on, everyone enjoyed hearing what lucky had to say - they learned so much from her wise words about life. And every time someone new came to visit the farm they would always be sure to say hello first to lucky Chats - because after all, you never know what kind of magic can happen when you meet a talking chicken!
