Teddy's Liverpool Dream.

Chapter 1. Teddy was seven years old and he had a dream: to one day play football for Liverpool. Every night he would look out of the window and imagine himself running around the football pitch, scoring goals and winning matches for his team. His parents knew about this dream and did their best to encourage him, getting him an official kit from Liverpool Football Club, but Teddy still felt like it was just a dream. One day, when Teddy was walking home from school, he passed by a football pitch which looked very familiar to him.

He went in to have a closer look and realised that it was Anfield – the home of Liverpool Football Club! Teddy couldn't believe his luck; here he was standing outside the stadium of his dreams. Suddenly a voice called out to him: “Hey!

You look like you want to play some football!” It was one of the coaches from Liverpool FC who had noticed Teddy standing there with stars in his eyes. He invited Teddy to come inside the stadium and have a kickabout with some of the players who were training there.

The coach showed Teddy around the stadium and introduced him to all of the players. As they played football together, Teddy felt like he belonged there – like this is where he belonged all along. At the end of the session, when it was time for Teddy to go home, one of the players gave him a signed shirt from Liverpool Football Club as a memento.

The coach also promised that if Teddy kept practising hard then maybe one day he could be part of their team too! Teddy left Anfield feeling on top of the world; this experience had given him new hope that perhaps his dream could come true after all. From that moment on, he made sure to practise every single day so that he could make his dream into reality one day soon!
