The Great Leap!
Chapter 1. Once upon a time there lived three racecars who were friends and loved to race each other. They were called Red, Blue and Yellow. Every day they would race around the track, going faster and faster until one of them finally crossed the finish line first. One day, all three of them decided to race on an island far away from the track.
As they raced around the island, they noticed a giant whale in the middle of the sea. It was spouting water out of its blowhole! The racecars stopped to take a closer look at the whale, when suddenly Red had an idea! "Let's jump over it!
" he said. The other two cars looked at him incredulously, but Red was sure it could be done - with a little bit of help from them all. So they all worked together to build a ramp out of sand and rocks so that one of them could jump over the whale.
Yellow decided to be brave and try it first - he revved his engine and raced up the ramp as fast as he could go! To everyone's amazement, Yellow made it over the whale and landed on the other side with a splash! Red and Blue cheered loudly, proud of their friend's success.
Then it was their turn - both of them took turns racing up the ramp and leaping over the whale with ease! The three cars were so proud of themselves for accomplishing something that seemed impossible before! From then on, every time they raced around the island, they would always stop to take a moment to admire their great leap over the whale - a moment that will stay with them forever!
