A Jump Too Far
Chapter 1. Once upon a time, there was a young boy named Thomas who had an adventurous spirit. He loved to explore and was always looking for something new. One day, he stumbled upon the house of an old woman.
She was pregnant and about to give birth. Thomas asked her if he could come inside and see her baby when it arrived. She said yes, so Thomas eagerly waited outside the house.
When the time came for the baby to arrive, Thomas was so excited that he started jumping up and down with joy! Unfortunately, his enthusiasm got the best of him and he accidentally jumped on the pregnant woman's belly! The old woman was in pain but also very understanding.
She knew that Thomas meant no harm and she realized how important it was for him to witness the momentous occasion of a new life coming into this world. The old woman invited him inside her home and allowed him to watch as her baby was born. As soon as the little one arrived, Thomas's face lit up with excitement and joy!
From then on, Thomas visited the old woman often, helping out around her house whenever he could. He had learned his lesson – sometimes you can be too enthusiastic in your joy – but it had been a valuable lesson learned in one of life's most beautiful moments.
