Pine for Psychedelics

Chapter 1. The dark forest loomed beneath the moonlight, tall pines standing like sentinels. The wind rustled through the branches like a whispering chorus, and a hush descended upon the trees. A goblin crept cautiously between them, its red eyes glowing in the night. It was searching for something special — something lysergic — and it had been led to this forest by an old legend.

The goblin shuffled through the underbrush, snuffling and digging with its clawed hands. Suddenly it stopped, sniffing the air with delight. There in front of it lay a patch of mushrooms, their caps visible in the moonlight. The goblin plucked one of them up and held it aloft, letting out a delighted squeal as it did so.

It had found what it was looking for! The mushroom was psychedelic — full of hallucinations and visions that would bring its owner joy and peace of mind. The goblin tucked the mushroom away in its pocket and continued on its way, feeling contentment radiating from within.

The following morning saw the sun rising over the forest of pines, casting its dappled light down onto the trees below. The goblin emerged from between them, blinking blearily in the daylight as if waking from a dream. Its pocket bulged slightly with something special — something lysergic — that would bring joy to many people who were searching for peace of mind.

The creature's mission was accomplished; its search had been successful! With a satisfied smile on its face, it turned towards home with an eagerness to share what it had found with others who might benefit from it too. In this way, even small creatures can make a big difference to those around them — bringing hope, joy and comfort even in dark times.
