A Chance Encounter Fated for Love

Sonnet
When first I met her at the college door,
My heart was stirred and I felt such a pull;
Though then unaware of what lay in store,
She stole my breath and made me feel so full.
The gentle sparkle of her lively eyes,
The subtle grace that marked her every move;

We shared a glance that seemed to realize
That fate had brought us two together, prove.
The dawning thought that we were meant as one,
Brought joy to me as if I'd won a race;
Our future sealed beneath the setting sun,

A chance encounter fated for love's embrace.
So now we live in perfect harmony,
As hand in hand we traverse life's rough road;
Our love is strong and will remain so free—
It all began with that chance encounter at the college door.
