Awayward Pup.
Chapter 1. Once upon a time there was a pup named Awayward. He was full of energy and always wanted to explore the world. One day, Awayward decided that he had enough of life in his small home and he wanted to see what the world had to offer. So, he ran away from home.
He trotted through town and soon found himself in the countryside. Awayward was so excited! Everywhere he looked, there were new sights and smells he had never seen before. The sun was shining, birds were singing and Awayward felt like he could just keep going forever.
Unfortunately, Awayward didn't know where he was going and soon found himself lost in the woods. He kept walking until nightfall but still couldn't find his way out of the woods. As evening approached, Awayward started to worry that he would have to spend the night alone in the forest.
Just then, Awayward heard a bark from a distance and followed it until he saw a friendly old dog sitting by a campfire. The old dog welcomed him with open arms and offered him some food for dinner. After their meal, the old dog told him stories about his travels around the world before settling down in these woods many years ago.
The next morning, the old dog showed Awayward how to find his way back home using landmarks like trees and rivers as guides. With newfound confidence, Awayward thanked his friend for all of his help and set off on his journey back home with newfound courage and determination. Safely back at home again, Awayward vowed never to run away again - although sometimes when no one's looking, he still dreams of exploring far away places with his loyal companion - the old dog from the woods!
