Snail-way to Go, Charli!
Chapter 1. Once upon a time, there was a girl named Charli who loved animals. She had a pet snail that she adored and took care of every day. One day, Charli decided to take her beloved pet snail on an adventure. She put the snail in her pocket, grabbed her backpack and headed out the door.
The first stop on their journey was the local park. Charli set her snail down on the grass and watched as it slowly made its way across the lawn. As she was admiring its graceful movements, Charli heard a loud sound coming from behind her. She turned around to see what had happened and gasped in shock—her little snail was gone!
Charli frantically searched for her pet, but it was nowhere to be found. Feeling defeated, she sadly began walking home when she noticed something strange—a small trail of slime leading away from where she had last seen her pet! Following this slimy trail, Charli eventually came across a group of snails gathered together in a circle.
In the center of this circle sat her beloved pet! Charli smiled as the snails slowly moved away from each other to make room for her pet to rejoin them. It seemed that these snails were having their own adventure and had invited her pet along for the ride!
Charli thanked them all before scooping up her snail and heading home with a smile on her face—all thanks to these adventurous snails! From then on, whenever someone asked Charli how she got her pet back, she would proudly proclaim “Snail-way to go! ”
