A Perfect Beach Day
Chapter 1. It was a beautiful summer day and the beach was crowded. Two friends, John and Sarah, decided to go to the beach. They were excited to get out of the house and have some fun in the sun.
John and Sarah arrived at the beach around noon. They spread out their towels on the sand and set up their umbrellas for shade. The waves crashed against the shore of the ocean, sending a refreshing mist into the air.
As they settled in, they noticed a group of children playing a game nearby. It looked like they were playing catch with a Frisbee, so John and Sarah decided to join in. Soon enough, they were running back and forth along the beach, laughing and having a great time.
Suddenly, there was a loud clap of thunder in the distance! Everyone stopped what they were doing as dark clouds began to roll in from over the horizon. The wind started picking up and it was clear that a storm was coming!
John and Sarah quickly gathered their things before making a run for it back to their cars. As they drove away from the beach, heavy rain began pouring down from above. But even though it had started raining, everyone still had smiles on their faces because it had been such an amazing day at the beach!
