Once upon a time, in a distant corner of the jungle, there lived a little Nabi native. He was small and unassuming, but he was brave and resilient. Every day he would venture out to the riverbank to fill his gourd with water, never giving thought to the danger that lurked beneath its murky depths.

One day, as he dipped his gourd into the river's edge, a giant crocodile suddenly reared its head from the water's surface and snapped its powerful jaws around the boy's arm. The Nabi native froze in fear; he knew that no man or beast could save him from this fate.

Then, from out of nowhere, an old medicine man appeared. He spoke softly to the crocodile in a language only it could understand, coaxing it back into the water.

The medicine man then turned to the little Nabi native and said: “Your courage has been rewarded with your life today - never forget that bravery is often rewarded if you are willing to take risks for what you believe in”. The Nabi nodded silently and thanked the old man before he returned to his village.

From then on, whenever he visited the riverbank, he carried with him an amulet that bore an image of a crocodile - a reminder of his courage and resilience in the face of danger. The story spread throughout the tribe and soon everyone knew of The Nabi and The Croc; they became legend in those parts for their bravery and friendship.
