Cardinal Rule

Chapter 1. Once upon a time in the great city of St. Louis, there was a baseball team called the Cardinals. They were known as the greatest team in all of baseball and were sure to make it to the World Series. The Cardinals had been with their city for many years and the people of St.

Louis had grown to love them like family. Everyone believed that this year would be different; this year the Cardinals were finally going to win the World Series. But as they made their way closer and closer to that final game, things started to change. The players became more focused, more determined, and more driven than ever before.

And as they prepared for the big day, they began to follow a new set of rules that would help them succeed: Cardinal Rule Number One—believe in yourself; Cardinal Rule Number Two—never give up; Cardinal Rule Number Three—play with heart and soul; Cardinal Rule Number Four—do your best and have fun doing it. The people of St. Louis took these cardinal rules to heart and cheered on their beloved Cardinals as they made their way through each round of playoffs. Finally, after months of waiting, it was game time!

The entire stadium was electrified with excitement as the Cardinals took charge on the field with their newfound determination and strength. The Cardinals played better than ever before—hitting home runs, pitching no-hitters, making plays that seemed impossible! And when it was all over the scoreboard read "St Louis Cardinals 10-0." The city erupted into celebration!

It was official: The Cardinals had won the World Series! The entire city came together in joyous celebration—from young children to senior citizens, everyone felt proud to be a part of something so special! As they celebrated throughout the night, they reminded themselves that following those cardinal rules had led them here—to victory! And so it became known throughout all of baseball: When you want success beyond measure you must always remember Cardinal Rule: Believe in yourself; never give up; play with heart and soul; do your best and have fun doing it!
